1. Misis Azrael�s real name is JENNIFER. Her nick is Jenny. Some call her Jen, Jeng, Jeng-Jeng, Jennygirl but we call each other “Honeybee”. Tawag sa amin ng mga common friends, “Honeybees”. Nagbago yan noong nagka-baby na kami. “Mommybee” na sya, at ako naman “Daddybee”. At syempre si Aila, nabansagan din ng “Babybee”. Ang tawag ng barkada sa bahay namin sa Tagaytay, “Beehive”. Oo na, baduy na kung baduy, eh ganun eh ano magagawa ko. Pag mag-kaaway kami, I call her �HOY� and she calls me �HOY KUPAL�. O di ba? Astig din sya hahaha!

2. It was December 1999 when a friend gave Jenny�s number to me. Kakatapos lang ng isang lousy relationship ko noon with another girl, wala pa balak magka-gf ng bago, but decided to give Jenny a call nonetheless.. Tipong kwento kwento lang. Baka maganda eh sayang hehe. We started talking on a regular basis and I found myself getting very much interested in her. Naging routine ang pag-uusap namin sa phone at minsan inaabot hanggang madaling araw. You could say, we clicked kahit na hindi pa kami nagkikita. We never got tired of each other, and after 8 months or so (tagal no?), we decided to meet for the first time. Malakas ang ulan noon tandang tanda ko pa, pero sugod pa rin si AZRAEL sa office ni Jenny sa Makati. It was a casual first time meeting. Nothing fancy really. We just had dinner at Chili�s Greenbelt (nandun pa kaya yun?), and that was it.

Aaminin ko na. Mabilis ako sa talaga sa babae. Hindi naman sa nagmamayabang, pero first time meetings usually nakaka-score na ako at kung saan saan agad nakakarating. Pero hindi umubra ang guts at kabilisan ko na ala ‘The Flash’ kay Jenny. Ako mismo umatras when I found out she�s different from other girls. Hindi basta basta. hindi bastusin. She had class and this aura that up to now, I can’t explain Siya yung tipong mapapasipol ka sa kaseksihan, laglag ang panga mo sa pag-hanga, pero hindi ka makakaporma dahil kapag tinitigan ka, parang nagbibigay ng warning na “Tado ka. May beinte-nuwebe ako dito na kinakalawang. Subukan mo lang, ng magilitan kita ng leeg”. Iba din tumingin ang loka. nagmistulang natutunaw ako na kandila sa lagkit at talim ng tingin. It�s the way she looked at me that I found really scary amazing.

Nasundan ang aming first meeting ng madami pa, pagkatapos ng 4 months na araw-araw na pagsundo sa kanya sa office, I asked her kung pwede na kaming mag-motel. Ay mali hindi pala yun lol. I asked kung official gf ko na ba sya. Putragis hindi ako sinagot. Tinawanan lang ako. Umuwi akong malungkot sa pag-aakalang friendship lang ata ang magiging resulta ng panliligaw ko.

I got a call from her on Dec. 13, 2000. Nagpasama sa isang Christmas Party. Sugod si AZRAEL. Syempre kainan eh. Natapos ang party at inihatid ko sa bahay si Jenny, but before we parted ways, she gave me a gift, and planted a kiss on my cheeks (First time yun. Ilan beses ako nag-attempt na kumiss, lagi sampal inaabot ko eh). Tanda ko pa ang kulay ng wrapper. Pink and Lilac. She told me to open it�

Nagulat ako. It was a ring, and the words �JENNY � YOURS FOREVER� were engraved on it. Waaaaaah! Ako ang binigyan ng singsing! Tanggal ang pagiging macho ko at feeling ko ako ang babae ampft. She showed me the other ring, the one she had on her finger for quite some time already, na hindi ko naman inakala na may ka-partner pala. Engraved on hers were the words �ROBIN�S GIRL�.. Abot hanggang tenga ang ngiti ni AZRAEL. Bukod sa official gf na nya si Jennifer, nakatipid din sya sa pagbili ng singsing wahahaha! Cute no?? :D

So Dec. 13, 2000 was the date Jenny and I officially became a couple. After 3 years, we decided to tie the knot and guess what? We got married on Dec. 13, 2003. At ang kulay ng motif namen was Pink and Lilac. Malapit na rin pala ang 7th year anniversary namin, at syempre isasabay na namin ang binyag ng aming one and only princess. Ang produkto ng aming kalandian pagmamahalan. Si Maria Aila Ysabelle.

3. Simple lang si Misis Azrael. The one thing that really stands out about her personality is her generosity. Sobrang mapagbigay nyan. Sa magulang, kamag-anak, kaibigan at kahit sa mga taong hindi gaano kilala. She’s always there to help and lend a helping hand when needed. Masyado mabait at masayahin. Laging nakatawa, pero iyakin din. Makakita lang ng pusa na tumatawid sa kalye naiiyak na kasi daw baka masagasaan kawawa naman. She likes cats by the way. She has 4 of them bastards. Sinabi ko nga pag-uwi ko gagawin ko siopao yung mga pusa eh dahil makukulet, baka makalmot ang prinsesa ko. Inaway ako. Hihiwalayan daw nya ako pag nagalusan mga pusa nya waaaaaaaah!

Ang isa pang nakakatuwa kay Misis Azrael, masyado touchy yan. Ako kasi hindi eh. Si misis lagi yan nakadikit saken na parang linta. Hindi natutulog pag hindi nakapasok ang kamay sa brip ko nakayakap sa akin. And I�m telling you, she is a very good wife. Magaling magluto. Marunong sa bahay. Masipag. And she knows her role very well. Hindi sya nakikipagkumpitensya pagdating sa usapang ‘man and wife’. She lets me decide on things most of the time. Pero syempre minsan sa kanya din ako humihingi ng advices, and she’s pretty good at giving them too.

Kaya perfect match kami ni misis. We are different in so many ways, and yet we bond so well. Swak na swak. Hand in glove ika nga. The secret to our longetivity, that started with friendship and led to marriage, is how we complimented each other through the years.

4. I see myself still happy and content with Misis Azrael after 30 to 40 years. Sana umabot pa kami ng ganung age. In 30 to 40 years time, Jenny and I see ourselves playing with our grandkids (malamang isandosena, dahil balak namin sundan agad si Aila pag pwede na hehe) Siguro by that time, retired na kami sa aming respective careers at nag-eenjoy na lang kaka-travel, cruise trips, sightseeing and maybe touring the world. Kami lang. Walang asungot na kasama. I wanna take her to cool and romantic places like Iran, Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan.. Ay mali!�. Paris (kiss kami sa taas ng Eiffel hehe), Venice (gondola ride aaaww), Taj Mahal in India, Spain (I’ll run with the bulls, tapos si misis sumisigaw “Takbo! ayan na yung mahaba ang sungay! Tina-target tumbong mo hala ka!”, Aspen Colorado (We’ll learn to ski together), Bahamas, at kung saan saan pa. Yun! Dun pala kami pupunta hehe. Huh? Teka muna 30-40 yrs from now tapos magpapahabol pa ako sa bull?? Ah basta. Pangarap ko yan wag kayo magulo. Nyahahaha!

Alam kong madami akong kapalpakan sa buhay. Alam din ni misis yan. Pero at the end of the day, SHE IS THE ONE I WANT TO SPEND MY LAST DAYS ON EARTH. Parang cool yata na ending sa chapter ng buhay ni AZRAEL sa lupa, yung scene na � Matanda na ako at bungal. Hindi na makatayo at makakilos ng maayos. Nakaupo sa rocking chair sa balkonahe ng isang cottage sa bundok. Tahimik ang paligid at ang maririning mo lang eh yung huni ng mga ibon. Nakatitig at pinagmamasdan ang paglubog ng araw. Ka-holding hands si Misis Azrael, at bumubulong sa kanya ng � �HONEYBEE, WE DID GOOD�.. Sabay tingin sa mga mata ni misis, ngingiti, at isang matinding hinga na malalim.. Sabay ayun. Wala na. Dedo nako.. The end na si AZRAEL.. So peaceful and serene.. Such a fitting way to end my chaotic life.. Haaaaays�
